Doctor Mahdi Dahmardeh is Faculty Member and Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran, The Islamic Republic of Iran.

Dr Dahmardeh received his B.A. in English Language Translation. In 2005, the very same year when he received his B.A., he went to Great Britain to pursuit his higher education. Dr. Dahmardeh has received his M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language less than 10 months from the University of Lancaster. He then started doing a PhD at the University of Warwick in 2006. Due to the high efforts that he put into education, he successfully finished the PhD studies within couple of years and ten months. Dr. Dahmardeh has got a PhD in 3 different subjects; Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Applied Linguistics and Education.

His interest particularly lies in curriculum development along with research on textbooks for foreign/second language teaching.

Dr Dahmardeh is currently Director of the University of Tehran Language Centre (UTLC). He is also the Executive Editor of the Research Platform Online Journal (RPOJ).
